Scholarship Benefits
The KNB Scholarship is fully funded and covers almost all essential costs for the entire duration of the master’s program, typically 24 months, including a preparatory Indonesian language course:
- Full tuition fee waiver for the entire master’s program.
- Monthly living allowance approximately IDR 1,500,000 – 2,000,000, depending on the city and current rates.
- Settlement allowance upon arrival in Indonesia.
- Economy-class return air ticket from the student’s home country to Indonesia.
- Comprehensive health insurance during the study period.
- An Indonesian language preparatory course before the main academic program begins.
- Thesis research allowance and book allowance.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the KNB Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of an eligible developing country.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a strong academic record.
- Be no older than 35 years at the time of application.
- Demonstrate English language proficiency (minimum TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.0, or equivalent). Some programs may accept other tests.
- Have a clear motivation to contribute to the development of their home country after graduation.
- Be in good physical and mental health.
